Most chances fell to Dunstable who took the lead on 24 minutes when good work from Stefan Bailey and Moses Olalaye found Tony Burnett who fired confidently home.

Jets contained Dunstable well and levelled five minutes before the break when Eoin Casey volleyed home a measured cross.

The hosts enjoyed their best period and continued to press after half–time, before Nick Jackson hit the bar for the Blues and Burnett restored their lead when his looping shot went in off the post past the bewildered home keeper.

Top scorer Lee Roache came on as a substitute and added two further goals on 75 and 89 minutes to bring his season’s tally to 47 goals in 44 games.
