Dunstable and Barton play out pre-season draw
HONOURS were even at Creasey Park on Saturday as near neighbours Dunstable Town and Barton Rovers battled out a 1-1 draw.
Barton took a 10th-minute lead through James Bent’s smart strike, before the Blues levelled on 53 minutes as George Brinkman netted.
Both sides rolled the substitutions after that, and although there were half chances, there were no more goals.
Dunstable meet Totternhoe on Wednesday, while the friendly against Brightlingsea Regent has now been called off.
