Dunstable ease past Barking in FA Vase

Dunstable Town eased into the second round of the FA Vase with a solid 3-0 win at Essex Senior League opponents Barking on Saturday.

The Blues opened the scoring on 70 minutes when Graeme Buchnanan crossed for Lee Roach to net.

It was 2-0 minutes later when Roache’s shot was saved and Chris Francis converted the rebound before Roache had his 17th of the season moments before the end to compplete the win.

Town will travel to Peterborough Northern Star in round two, while this Saturday, they host St Margaretsbury in the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division.
