Dunstable honour ‘invincibles’ of last season
Dunstable Mayor John Chatterley welcomed officials and players from AFC Dunstable Ladies and Dunstable Town to Creasey Park on Thursday evening to celebrate their unbeaten campaigns.
The Blues recorded 36 wins and six draws, scoring 143 goals as they finished 20 points clear at the top of the Molten Spartan SML Premier Division, winning promotion to the Calor Southern League Division One Central.
Meanwhile, it was the ladies’ first season playing at Creasey Park and they won 11 and drew five of their games in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire County Girls and Women’s League Premier Division and progress into the Eastern Region League next term.
