Dunstable Town left frustrated by late equaliser and red card
Dunstable twice led and looked to be heading for victory when Broadfields snatched an equaliser just six minutes from time to force a 2-2 draw.
To rub salt into their wounds, they also had substitute Helder Lopes sent off three minutes into added time for an offence that the referee deemed worthy of a second yellow card.

Hide AdLopes had gone on for Daniel Trif in the 63rd minute with the score locked at 1-1, and only three minutes later, he created Dunstable’s second goal as he delivered a terrific cross for Jack Harvey-Bailey to head home.
Harvey-Bailey had also given the visitors the lead as early as the fourth minute, meeting a nice cross from Luke Little to nod into the net.
However, Broadfield, who are one of only six teams below Dunstable in the table, had their moments and equalised on 22 before forcing ‘keeper Dan Gould into a smart save.
The draw left Dunstable three points above the bottom six, and this Saturday, they entertain leaders Colney Heath, who surged eight points clear by beating second-placed Tring Athletic 3-2
