The Keepmoat Stadium club beat off competition to sign the 20-year-old from Palace, who had been training at Luton Town prior to his big move to the Premier League earlier this year.

Anderson, who recently scored a hat-trick for the Eagles in an U21 match against Watford, could now go straight into the squad for Saturday’s match at Sheffield United.

Caretaker Doncaster boss Rob Jones said: “Keshi’s had a quick rise and I’ve liked what I’ve seen - pace and power - and taken up the option.”
