Hatters striker Mark Cullen was delighted to end his own mini goal drought at former club Bury on Saturday.
Town’s leading scorer had been stuck on eight goals since October 21 after going five games without finding the net.
However, he was in exactly the right place to turn home Scott Griffiths’ cross from a yard out, after a howler from keeper Rob Lainton.
Cullen said: “I’ve been a bit unfortunate at times, I hit the bar last week (against Mansfield) but I managed to get a goal and hopefully I’ll go again next weekend and get another one.
“I buzz over any goal. It could be from 40 or one yard, it doesn’t make any difference to me, a goal is a goal.”
Cullen was upfront with former Peacehaven striker Charlie Walker who was handed his first start after Paul Benson broke his leg last weekend.
The forward was impressed with how the full debutant performed, along with second half replacement Ricky Miller too.
