Former Luton Town loanee Michael Harriman has signed a permanent deal at fellow League Two side Wycombe Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

The Hatters had been heavily linked with a move for the 23-year-old right back during the summer after he impressed on loan at Kenilworth Road last term, making 39 appearances and scoring twice.

However, the transfer frustratingly never materialised and Harriman returned to Wycombe where he had spent time at prior to his move to Luton.

He has netted six times in 25 games this term, earning a nomination for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month award in September as Chairboys boss Gareth Ainsworth said: “Michael’s a player I’ve known for a number of years and he was one of my first loan signings when I became manager here. He’s got everything you want from a professional – he gives his all, he’s got bags of ability and he’s a great character to have around the club.

“To be able to keep him here is a fantastic piece of business and I’m grateful for the support of the board who have enabled me to make Michael a permanent signing.”
