James Collins saw this header disallowed for offside against Nottingham Forest

Hatters rated: Luton Town 1 Nottingham Forest 2

Luton fell to their third successive defeat on Saturday, beaten 2-1 at Kenilworth Road by Nottingham Forest.

The visitors moved 2-0 ahead through Lewis Grabban and Sammy Ameobi, as although Callum McManaman pulled one back, it was too little, too late. Here's how the Hatters players rated on the afternoon.

Left exposed by his defence for Grabbans first as the striker never looked like missing. Deflection meant he had little chance with the second too. Proactive in coming off his line when needed.

Disappointing afternoon as he didnt take responsibility for Forest's first, then went to ground far too easily allowing Grabban a free run. Also gave Ameobi far too much time to turn and shoot for 2-0. Replaced by Bolton.

Seemingly harshly adjudged offside as the afternoon might have been very different had his goal stood. Couldnt prevent Lolley crossing for the crucial second, despite prior warning from Jones.

His not seen before range of passing caught the eye all afternoon, as he produced some wonderful crossfield balls into the feet of LuaLua. Couldn't really be blamed for either of the goals Town conceded either.
