Glen Rea stretches to make a challenge at Doncaster

Matt Macey: 7 - Secure display for the majority from the on-loan Arsenal stopper whose distribution was decent as well. May be slightly disappointed to have been beaten by May for the leveller though.

Stephen O’Donnell: 7 - Much improved from midweek as he was part of a solid Hatters defence that kept the leaders at arms length for long periods. Unfortunate to be caught out on the front foot for the equaliser as May nipped in to score.

Jack Senior: 7.5 - Found Blair a tough opponent, particularly early on with the winger eager to attack him on the outside. Stood his ground well though and kept things simple, but increasingly effective as the game wore on.

Scott Cuthbert (STAR MAN): 9 - Captain was simply magnificent throughout the afternoon yet again. Won pretty much all his headers, and some excellent interventions whenever Rovers got the ball wide too as he ensured there were slim pickings for hosts’ front-line.

Alan Sheehan: 9 - Like Cuthbert, he was immense at the back all game for the Hatters, particularly aerially. Got great distance on his headers, read the play well and helped keep Doncaster’s usually potent strikeforce quiet.

Glen Rea: 8.5 - Provided an excellent screen in front of the back four as he did the ugly side of the game perfectly, winning his headers and tackles. Yet another booking, albeit harshly this time, puts him one game away from a ban now.

Jonathan Smith: 7.5 - Couldn’t really make an impact on proceedings in the first period as Luton didn’t have too much in the way of concerted possession. Came into the match far more during the second half as the game became began to open up.

Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 7.5 - Some excellent bursts from deep as he led Town’s charge forward whenever they got the chance to counter attack at pace. Final pass or touch did let him down on occasion though as Hatters couldn’t quite find that killer ball.

Jordan Cook: 8 - Cracking finish from the midfielder who took his chance early and now has three in his last six games. Felt he was fouled prior to Rovers’ leveller but unfortunately for him, referee Deadman didn’t agree.

Danny Hylton: 8 - The striker who Hatters fans love and opposition fans love to hate. A constance nuisance to the hosts defence and had a dingdong battle against Butler throughout. His work in the build-up to Cook’s strike was absolutely superb.

Isaac Vassell: 7.5 - Pace frightened the home defence whenever Luton had the chance to break away and he showed good vision to find Cook for Town’s goal too. Came close himself but Rovers’ back-line managed to keep their wits about them.

Ollie Palmer (SUB): 7 - Another impressive cameo from the striker who was a handful once more when he came on.

Luke Gambin (SUB): 6 - On late on as Town looked to try and snatch a winner.
