Hatters midfielder Matt Robinson could yet have a future with the club according to boss John Still.

The 21-year-old, who only signed a new three-year deal in October, was one of six players placed on the transfer list at Kenilworth Road last week.

Robinson only made just 12 appearances last season for Town, while spending a month on loan with Kidderminster Harriers, as Still said: “Although he’s on the list, it doesn’t mean to say he’ll be going.

“Matt felt he deserved an opportunity throughout the season, more than he had, which I understand.

“I’m trying to do is make him aware that if there’s anything else there for him, he can have a look at.

“Let’s see what’s out there for him and if there’s nothing we’re interested in then we might put that one on hold for a little bit.”

That could also be the case for Curtley Williams who joined in the summer from Lowestoft Town, but was restricted to just three games due to a number of injuries.

However, the likes of Alex Lacey, Fraser Franks, Ross Lafayette and Andy Parry are all expected to find pastures new, as Still felt neither Franks or Lacey did themselves justice during their rare opportunities.
