Luton Town have confirmed that centre half Magnus Okuonghae’s injury isn’t a serious cause for concern.
The 29-year-old, currently on loan at League Two rivals Hartlepool, had to be replaced during the clash against AFC Wimbledon last weekend after receiving a blow to his ankle, returning to Luton for treatment.
Okuonghae had spent a lengthy time on the sidelines after rupturing his Achilles injury, but Town boss John Still admitted it wasn’t linked that problem.
He said: “It was nothing to do with his previous injury, he just hurt his ankle in the game.
“They wanted him to play this weekend, but whether he was okay to play I’m not sure.
“It’s FA Cup this week so he won’t play, but he should be fit for the game next week for them.”
