Luton Town boss John Still has recorded an open message to the club’s fans after his argument with a supporter following Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat by Morecambe.
The manager, who also spoke exclusively in the News/Gazette out this morning too, posted the video on the club’s official Youtube page, where he said: “We’ve been here just over two years now. When I came I didn’t promise success straight away, but we got it. We were fortunate enough to get it and the reason we got it was that we were a team on and off the pitch, without a shadow if a doubt.
“We wouldn’t be where we are today without the support we get off the pitch.
“The facts will tell you, we’re fifth in the league, are still in that top group, have had horrendous injuries, we’re trying to fight back.
“Everyone’s working hard, everyone cares, everyone loves playing for this club so for the one or two that upset people, why don’t you start to love the players and love the club again and you’ll enjoy it much better.”
