Striker Jack Marriott netted the opening goal of the game after just 28 minutes, his 13th of the campaign and fifth in seventh game to earn the visitors all three points.

Luton had to weather the storm in terms of injuries too, with Craig Mackail-Smith, Paddy McCourt and Dan Potts all forced off, but stood strong to climb up to 12th in the League Two table, although Nathan Jones’ side remained six points away from the play-offs.
