The hosts were in action on Wednesday night, producing an all-action performance to knock Aston Villa out of the FA Cup, while they are also back at home on Tuesday evening, when Newport County are the visitors.

On coming up against his former side, who themselves have made a 100 per cent start to the season, Jones said: “We’ll have to dust them down and regroup, use the squad again.

“We used the squad a bit (against Villa) and will do that because we’re keen to keep everyone fresh.

“Yeovil are a good side, I went to watch them on Tuesday, they’ve won two out of two as well.

“We don’t think it’s going to be any kind of a different game to this (Villa one) because it will probably be even harder.

“At the minute it’s a relentless thing so we’re preparing again for the game on Saturday.”
