In an even first half, Kent had to defend stoutly and took the lead through Reeon Wiltshire on 25 minutes with what turned out to be the best move of the game.

The visitors created some good chances, the best of which fell to Jack Magill, but he put his effort into the side netting, although it mattered not as Kent claimed the title.

On Saturday, Kent Athletic had beaten Broxbourne Borough 3-0.

After a slow start, Kent took control and made the breakthrough on 20 minutes when Ricky Clarke scored his first goal for the club with an opportunistic effort.

Kent continued to push after the break and missed more chances until Pat Daly netted from close range on 65 minutes.

Full-back Adam Currington then bagged his 11th goal of the season from a corner with a minute to go to complete a good team performance by the champions.
