Kent Athletic up to second after hammering Amersham

Kent Athletic climbed up to second in the SSML Division Two table as they hammered Amersham Town 5-1 away last Tuesday night.

Pat Daley scored twice for the visitors, with Nathan Henry, Michael Moss and Jack Magill all on target too.

Kent now trail leaders Hale Leys United by 16 points, but still have six games in hand.

On Saturday, Athletic’s game against Grendon Rangers was called off due to a frozen pitch, as was The 61 FC (Luton) clash with St Albans City Reserves and Totternhoe v Pitstone & Ivinghoe.

This weekend, The 61 FC (Luton) visit Loughton Manor, while Kent head to Mursley and Totternhoe host Amersham.

In Reserve Division North & West, Troy Birch scored a hat-trick as Totternhoe won 3-1 at Pitstone & Ivinghoe.

In Reserve South & East, AFC Dunstable’s trip to Crawley Green was postponed.

This weekend, Crawley Green host St Josephs in the Beds Intermediate Cup, while AFC Dunstable Reserves entertain Sundon Park Rangers.

Reserve Division One North & West sees The 61 FC (Luton) travel to Old Bradwell, while Totternhoe visit Winslow United.
