Ladies Football: Hatters make it three in a row
A ninth-minute Deb Rehle through-ball was seized on by Kerry Keyte who picked her spot, slotting the ball under the diving keeper to make it 1-0.
The game could have been all over within 20 minutes as Town were constantly on the attack with Jodie McClelland twice going close, while crosses from Jael Muzzi and Rehle were almost met by the Luton strikers.

Hide AdThe visitors managed to fight their way back into the game after the break, but found Hatters keeper Tia Augustine in fine form as she twice made excellent stops.
Those saves turned out to be vital as Luton finally made sure of the points when McClelland held off her player before striking a rising shot into the roof of the net to round off an excellent 2-0 win.
Town’s U15s marched on at the top of the Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire County Girls & Women’s League U15 Division as they hammered Toddington Rovers 15-0.
Phoebe Brown scored four, with hat-tricks coming from both Lilley Coleman and Kirsty Robertson.

The leadership of the Herts Girls Partnership U14 Division continues to change hands regularly as Town U14s bounced back from their only defeat so far with a 7-2 win at Bedwell Rangers.
Jodie Bellinger scored four with Leila Palmer, Charlotte Motto and player of the match Natalie Case completing the scoring.
AFC Dunstable continued their impressive form this season as they brushed aside Royston Town 3-0 in a wind-driven game in Eastern Region Women’s Division One South.

Hide AdAFC took full advantage of the gusty conditions at their back in the first half as Carly Cowell smashed home a poorly cleared corner to leave the Royston keeper no chance.
And Chelsea Forde doubled their lead when she coolly slotted home Dan Carty’s pass past the onrushing keeper.
In complete control stand-in keeper Tracy Blake was rarely troubled, while Cowell doubled her tally just before half time when she climbed strongly to head home a Carty corner.
With the game won, Royston piled on the pressure at times in the second half, but impressive defending from Sarah Tapley, Julia Ladbrooke, Lauren Chimes Steph Fisher and Elly Wade earned AFC the clean sheet they deserved.

Hide AdAFC broke occasionally but were unable to punish Royston further.
Depleted Crawley Green earned a 2-2 draw against Watton in Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire County Girls & Women’s League Open-Age Division Two.
Sammy Joiner deputised in goal until Chantelle Olayai made her way from her shift as Crawley claimed a well deserved point in blustery conditions.
Numerous chances were missed in the first half and, although Yasmin Wacey netted the opener, Watton pulled one back through some slack Crawley defending.

Hide AdIn the second half it was all one-way traffic with the centre midfield pairing of Amber Eden and player of the match Molly McGarry, on her return from Nottingham Trent University, pressing the opposition.
Watton took the lead with 10 minutes to go, but Shiv Collingwood notched the key goal to secure Crawley a well deserved point as they continue to gain momentum.
