All the odds as Hatters host Cobblers

The Hatters have taken their time to adjust to life in new surroundings but there seems no stopping them now as Luton moved up to third with a 3-1 win over Dagenham & Redbridge in the week.

A Mark Cullen hat-trick sealed all three points over the Daggers as the Hatters racked up a sixth consecutive victory league success on the spin, is there any stopping them?

BetVictor, despite easing them out to 33/1 for the title last month, have raised the white flag and make them 9/2 co-second favourites alongside Burton and Shrewsbury however Bury remain 7/2 jollies for to be crowned champions after a flurry of bets during pre-season making them considerably our worst result.

Luton fans will be in the agreement that title success would be sacrificed for the sake of promotion or even a play-off spot at the start of the season, and after an excellent start to the campaign, BetVictor make the Hatters 8/11 to achieve back-to-back promotion and 1⁄4 (from 7/4) to achieve a top-seven finish.

A ‘magnificent seven’ can be completed at the weekend when hosting the Cobblers at Kenilworth Road. Northampton arrive having been beaten 3-1 at home to Oxford midweek and keeping just one clean sheet in their last nine games.

It would be something of an upset to say the least should the Cobblers leave with anything and Luton look excellent value at 23/20 with BetVictor, the visitors 13/5 and the draw 12/5.

The ‘twelfth man’ has been inspirational to the Hatters thus far this season and should see them to victory with Mark Cullen in particular expected to thrive.

He has been a revelation in the Football League, netting a hat-trick midweek, five in his last three, and can fire the Hatters to victory on Saturday.

The striker is the 5/1 favourite with BetVictor to score the opener, 17/10 to score anytime and 28/1 to score back-to-back hat-tricks.
