All the odds as Hatters host Morecambe

A single goal from Tom Soares was enough to give Bury all three points against the Town midweek and John Still will be looking for his side to bounce back against mid-table Morecambe who visit Kenilworth Road on Saturday.

The title picture looks increasingly like a three-horse race between Shrewsbury (even money), Burton (9/4) and Wycombe (7/1) with a six-point gap to those outside the automatic promotion places and 14/1 bar the ‘big three’.

The Hatters have a winnable fixture though and are a shade of odds on at 20/21 with BetVictor to keep all three points with the draw 5/2 and the Shrimps at 10/3.

The visitors have picked up more points on their travels than Luton in League Two this season and were only denied by a late Oxford equaliser from successive 1-0 away wins.

Town remain 11/10 to achieve promotion and considering how tight it is at the top, is there still some juice left in their price at odds-against?

Luton are just six points behind those in the automatic promotion places but with all three struggling for consistency a win would see them jump back into contention and they are taken to win and win ell at the weekend.

Kenilworth Road remains a fortress for the hosts’ and BetVictor’s 2/1 about the Hatters winning the game to nil looks very fair, as does the 4/1 about Luke Guttridge to net anytime; 66/1 to net the opener in a Luton 2-0 win.
