The 20-year-old, who moved to Hatters from Wycombe Wanderers last summer, spent the whole season on loan at Conference South side Boreham Wood.

He finished as the division’s leading scorer with 25 goals, firing Wood to promotion via the play-offs, also scoring in the final and being named the Sportsbeat Young Player of the Year at the National Game Awards.

Hatters boss John Still said: “We’ve offered him a new contract and are waiting to hear from him.”
