Barnes-Homer’s lack of Rochdale match action is no concern to Brabin

TOWN boss Gary Brabin didn’t want to be drawn on the lack of football striker Matthew Barnes-Homer is getting at League One side Rochdale, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 25-year-old moved to Spotland back in August, but has made just six appearances, is yet to start a league clash and hasn’t even made the squad for the last two matches.

Brabin said: “There are different ways of looking at it.

“Matthew had aspirations of playing League football and has been given the chance at a different club with a fresh challenge.”
