Benson glad to get some Hatters game time
Benson managed to bag himself a brace as the Hatters ran out comfortable 4-0 winners over the Posh’s development side, with Ricky Miller also getting himself on the score sheet twice.
Benson said: ‘I thought today (Tuesday) went really well, it’s always nice to get another 90 minutes game time so I’m pleased I managed to get that today.

Luton’s development squad have now won three of their four matches so far this season, and Benson believes that can only be a good thing for everyone involved with the club.
He added: ‘Winning is a habit, and that’s something you want to go through the club, from the first-team to the development squad and youth team.
‘The good form of the first-team is setting the standards at the moment and all levels are getting the wins to back that up, that can only be a good thing for everyone involved, hopefully we can continue that through the club.’

Hide AdBenson, who scored 17 goals for Luton in their promotion campaign last year, has also been impressed by the form of the younger players in particular.
‘It’s nice to see some of the younger boys play and develop in games like this, players like Curtley Williams, Jim Stevenson and Matt Robinson.
‘Obviously it is an advantage for those who were injured to come back and play but ultimately games like this are for the younger lads to develop and see them progress, which I think they are doing at the moment.’
