Benson returns against Orient

Luton Town striker Paul Benson will make his return from a broken leg in the Final Third Development League clash at Leyton Orient this afternoon.

The 35-year-old hasn’t featured since suffering the injury against Mansfield Town on November 29.

Benson is selected in strong line-up for the Hatters as Alex Lawless was named in the team, along with Luke Wilkinson, Shaun Whalley, Jake Howells and Alex Wall.

Hatters: Gooch, Connolly, Parry, Wilkinson, Howells, Robinson, Rooney, Lawless, Whalley, Benson, Wall.

Subs: Lafayette, Galliford, Allman, Onyemah.

Orient: Grainger, Ling, Humphrey, Bartley, Nikolau, Pollock, Semedo, Lee, Simpson, Plasmati, Batt.
