Luton have announced that defender Rhys Norrington-Davies has been recalled from his loan spell at Kenilworth Road by parent club Sheffield United.

The 21-year-old, who made his full Wales debut earlier this season after some impressive performances for the Hatters, has returned to Bramall Lane with immediate effect.

Norrington-Davies made 22 appearances during his four-month spell with Town, helping the club make an excellent start in the Championship, reach the third round of the Carabao Cup and also came on as a second half substitute in the FA Cup third round win over Reading on Saturday.

Blades boss Chris Wilder had previous stated that he wouldn't be recalling the full back, who penned a new long-term deal with the club last month, but has now changed his mind, leaving Town with Dan Potts, Brendan Galloway and Peter Kioso as options to take his place.
