Championship leaders Norwich City have reportedly complained to the EFL about Luton midfielder Luke Berry after he made contact with referee Darren England when celebrating the official awarding Town a penalty during last night's 3-1 win for the Hatters at Kenilworth Road, according to Sky Sports News.

The incident happened in the 47th minute when England adjudged visiting captain Grant Hanley to have handled in the area under pressure from James Collins, whistling for a spot-kick that the leading scorer thumped home.

In his delight, Berry put both hands on the referee as he ran past him, but an article from the Eastern Daily Press states the incident has merely formed part of the Canaries complaint, which is aimed more at the behaviour of the match officials rather than the 28-year-old's actions.

They report the Canaries feel their players were spoken to in an unprofessional manner by England, who also had words with boss Daniel Farke during the game, and are now awaiting a response from the EFL.
