The officials still weren’t happy and after a good deal of argument, Jamie Warne took over and planted the ball firmly past Beckwith to make it 1-0.
O’Dell and Lee Hayward both went close to extending Crawley’s lead but Langford hit back after 28 minutes when Terry Bennion conceded a penalty and Kim Forsythe made no mistake from the spot.
Crawley regained the lead after 42 minutes as Stuart Strange’s cross was headed back by Gary Capehorn for Hayward to score.
