Cullen calls on Luton’s fans once more

Luton’s average gate of 7,387 would have put them second in the League Two table behind Portsmouth.

He said: “The fans got behind us last year and it really helped us out on the pitch.

“So hopefully they can carry on and fill Kenilworth Road because it does help the lads and pushes them to the end.

“League Two is a really difficult league, there’s some big clubs in there and some good teams, but Luton Town are one of them and why can we not go again?”

Cullen recently signed a new three-year deal to remain with Luton and was labelled the most unlucky striker in the league by boss John Still, finding himself behind Andre Gray and Paul Benson.

On the tag, Cullen said: “There’s being unlucky, but I tend not to look at it like that.”
