The Hatters have lost their last two league outings, recording consecutive defeats to Stoke City and Cardiff City without scoring in either match.

By contrast, the Lions are unbeaten in their last eight league matches, and haven’t lost a game in the Championship since January 16th.

They did drop points against bottom side Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, however, playing out a 0-0 stalemate at The Den.

And looking ahead to Tuesday’s fixture, Prutton is predicting another sharing of the spoils.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, he said: “Successive defeats to Stoke and Cardiff in the last week means Nathan Jones' men have slumped to 16th, which is their lowest league position so far this season.

“Their failure to score in either leaves them with just three goals from seven league games in 2021 and just eight points off the bottom three.

“The Hatters are currently heading in the opposite direction to Millwall, who have recently broken into the top half of the table and may have their sights set on a late push for the play-offs as outsiders.

“They have drawn more games than anyone else so far this season, though, and I can't see anything other than that here.”

Prutton forecasts a 1-1 draw.

Luton lost the last meeting between the two sides, with Millwall running out 2-0 winners at The Den back in October.

Martin Crainie scored an own goal for the Hatters, with Connor Mahoney bagging the hosts’ second.
