Deals almost done with Murray and Ed
SIGNING out of contract duo Ed Asafu-Adjaye and Freddie Murray on to new deals should be a mere formality for the Hatters, writes Mark Wood.
Both are part of the Luton Town squad that has travelled to Scotland with manager Gary Brabin for a pre-season ‘boot camp’.
The Hatters are currently readying for the new season in Inverclyde in Ayrshire and Luton managing director Gary Sweet doesn’t foresee any trouble in tying the full-backs to new deals to keep them at the club.
He said: “Freddie and Ed have gone up to Scotland on the basis they are Luton Town players.”
