Bolton Wanderers boss Ian Evatt was thrilled to capture the loan signing of Luton Town defender Peter Kioso until the end of the season.

The 21 year-old has made three appearances for the Hatters since arriving from Hartlepool United in the January transfer window, starting the recent 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester United.

With Luton chief Nathan Jones unable to give Kioso the game time he requires to develop this term, then the full back will spend the rest of the campaign at the University of Bolton Stadium.

The youngster could be in contention to make his debut against Oldham Athletic this weekend, as head coach Evatt said: “I am delighted to confirm we have signed Peter Kioso from Luton who is a player I have admired for a long time and have chased since the start of pre-season.

“Peter can play a variety of positions, has great pace and power and adds quality to our squad.”

After completing his loan switch, Kioso added: “I’m delighted to sign for the club and I can’t wait to get going and show everyone what I can do.’’
