Ex-Hatter James Justin nets first Premier League goal as Leicester beat Burnley

Former Luton defender James Justin scored his first Premier League goal for Leicester City during their 4-2 win over Burnley at the King Power Stadium this evening.

Chris Wood opened the scoring for Sean Dyche's side, firing into the bottom left corner on 10 minutes, but Harvey Barnes replied on 20 to make it 1-1.

Erik Pieters' own goal put the hosts ahead after the break, before it was Justin's turn to shine on the hour mark.

On his 15th top flight appearance since leaving Kenilworth Road for the Foxes in the summer of 2019, Justin was on target when Dennis Praet slipped in Ayoze Pérez, and the Spaniard's pass into the box was slotted home by the full back.

It was his first league strike in 41 appearances since netting for Luton against Bradford City in League One in November 2018.

Jimmy Dunne raised hopes of a Clarets recovery when he headed in Dwight McNeil's left-wing delivery, but Praet's fine 20-yard strike into the top-right corner sealed the win.
