Flint chooses Swindon over Hatters

Lure of Football League too much for Alfreton defender

HATTERS have been forced to concede defeat in their pursuit of highly-rated centre-back Aden Flint from Blue Square Bet North side Alfreton Town, writes Mike Simmonds.

Luton had been interested in the 21-year-old during the summer, and made a number of approaches for the towering defender, but he eventually chose to join League One Swindon Town for £150,000.
