Franks leaves Luton
Hatters have confirmed defender Fraser Franks has left the club by mutual consent.
The 24-year-old spent 18 months at Kenilworth Road after joining from Welling United, helping Town to the Conference title and promotion back to the Football League.
Boss John Still had hinted Franks, who had been placed on the transfer list after making just 17 appearances last season, would be on his way when speaking at last night’s 1-1 friendly draw with Boreham Wood.
He said: “I think we’ve done a deal with Fraser to move on now.
“We’ll have to wait on that, but we’re seeing players moving and formulating the squad.”
