Luton Town U18s suffered a late defeat against Crystal Palace U18s in a behind closed doors friendly on Saturday.

The Hatters had trailed 2-0 at half time, but fought back bravely in the second period, as Joe Halsey got his first goal for the club, finishing off a slick move on the right with an excellent strike.

Casey Pettit then made it 2-2 when he headed home at the near post from a corner, but Palace hit back late on, scoring the winner with five minutes to go.
