Harriman predicts ‘fantastic’ encounter with Shrews

On-loan QPR defender Michael Harriman believes tonight’s televised League Two clash with Shrewsbury Town will be one to watch for the viewing public.

Hatters go into the game sitting fifth in the table but will leapfrog their opponents into third spot with a victory at Kenilworth Road.

Harriman said: “I think it will be a fantastic game on Thursday night, both teams are flying in the league.

“It will be end to end stuff and if we play our game and go back to basics, think we can come out with a great win.”

The 22-year-old is hoping for a similar role to that he enjoyed against Cambridge in the FA Cup last weekend when he scored his first Town goal and only the second of his professional career.
