Luton attacker Josh Neufville was labelled as 'sensational' by Yeovil manager Darren Sarll after he notched a second goal in as many games during the 3-0 National League win at Weymouth on Tuesday night.

The 20-year-old had opened his account in fine style for the Glovers as they defeated rivals Torquay United 2-1 in their previous match, a goal that has been nominated for the Vanarama Goal of the Week award.

He then scored again, from outside the box, as Yeovil moved 1-0 ahead against a Terras side containing former Hatters striker Josh McQuoid, drilling his shot into the bottom corner.

With the wind in their sails, Town added a second through Abi Skendi on 19 minutes, before Joe Quigley converted a late penalty.

Speaking to the club's official website, after his side made it three wins in a row and four victories from five, Sarll said: "Him (Matt Worthington) and (Josh) Neufville in the first half were sensational.

“It wasn’t just their possession game, but out of possession too.

“We started very quick tonight; we were very focused.

“It’s nice to say for the first time this season we’re in a strong vein of form.

"We’ve picked up some good wins across the last five games apart from the disappointment away to Torquay, but we’re getting there, and we were terrific tonight.”
