Hatters boss Rob Edwards has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award for April.

The Town chief, who was in the running for prize last month, ensured Luton stayed unbeaten in their six matches, with four wins and two draws, including a 2-0 victory over fiercest rivals Watford, beating Blackpool, Rotherham United and Middlesbrough, also drawing with Millwall and Reading.

"To add to the feelgood factor Edwards has brought to Kenilworth Road, he enjoyed personal redemption with a 2-0 derby day win over Watford.”

Edwards is up against Paul Heckingbottom (Sheffield United), Russell Martin (Swansea City) and Neil Warnock (Huddersfield Town).

The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager and Hatters midfielder Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
