Hatters boss remaining tight-lipped over a move for Villa defender Bree
Luton boss Nathan Jones was remaining tight-lipped as to whether the club were back in for Aston Villa full back James Bree once more.
The 22-year-old defender was on loan at Kenilworth Road last term, coming into his own once Jones took over during lockdown and was one of the stars of Town’s Great Escape that saw them remain in the Championship by beating Blackburn Rovers 3-2 on the final day.

Hide AdBree has been strongly tipped to return to Town on a permanent deal in the transfer window and when asked if Hatters were in for the ex-Barnsley player, Jones said: “We’ve got targets and we’re heavily in for those targets, so hopefully we can get the ones that we want.
“James is someone we know because we had him here, so he would come on to our list, whether it’s him we’re trying to get is another thing.
“Until something’s through the door I'm not going to turn around and say because social media tends to alert a lot of people, so we’re not going to divulge too much.”
