Town boss Nathan Jones is still working hard to bolster his Hatters squad during the transfer window.

The Luton chief confirmed last week that he wanted to add 'something different' to his squad for the Championship campaign.

Although he hasn't managed to do so thus far, speaking to the press this afternoon, when asked if he was any closer, Jones said: "Nothing at the minute.

"We’re working really, really hard on that and we hope we can do that because as I said just a fresh face will be nice, especially after the start we’ve had, but if we don’t then it’s not the end of the world squad wise.

"It’s just if there is a little bit of scope to do that, someone becomes available and it’s the right type and what we like, then we will do that.

"One or two we are looking at and hopefully we can get one of those over the line."
