Town fans react on social media to duo’s displays

Luton supporters have given some high praise to the performances of Town duo Jordan Clark and Reece Burke recently.

Clark, who has started all but three of Luton’s Championship games this season, is playing some of his best football since Rob Edwards took over, scoring two terrific goals in that time.

Meanwhile, Burke is now back at full fitness once, having started back-to-back second tier matches for the first time since August when beginning the wins over Cardiff and Swansea last week.

On Clark, @danielchapman86 wrote: One of the best current Championship midfielders on a free, no doubt!

@Pilfry: “Luckily we extended/improved his contract twice in the first 12 months he was with us, he'll be tied down and will feel appreciated due to this.

“Was very clear very early that he'd make a top centre midfielder, very happy the club picked up on it.”

@Hatter_JH: “Undroppable at the moment.

“Now? I can't think of many, if any, midfielders in the League I'd have over him.”

@Georgrundo: “Mad to think Danny Wilson just let him go, for nowt…

“Why he wasn’t on radar season we went back up with Stendel I’ll never know.”

"That said if he never he wouldn’t be playing for us.

"A for full season from him and he would soon be a premier player.”

While on Facebook, Iain Turner added: “Awesome player, so good striding forward too.
