Hatters could face top flight opposition in Capital One Cup

Luton Town could face Premier League opposition in this evening’s Capital One Cup draw.

Hatters are ball number nine amongst the unseeded teams for the draw, so will be pitted against a seeded team that inlcude the likes of Everton, Swansea, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and fiercest rivals Watford.

The draw takes place live on Sky Sports News after the final first round tie between Doncaster and Leeds United tonight and forward Jack Marriott was hoping for another team at Kenilworth Road, saying: “We want another home draw as I think we’re capable of beating anyone here.

“We’ll go away if needs be though, put in our best performance and I’m sure we can turn whoever we play over.”
