Luton defender Dan Potts remains a doubt for Luton’s eagerly anticipated home clash against rivals Watford on Saturday.

The 27-year-old has been out of action since going off against Swansea City with a head injury just over a month ago, missing Town’s last five fixtures.

He has since picked up a slight thigh problem in training too as when asked about his availability for this weekend, Jones said: “Pottsy’s a lot closer.

"It's weird as he'd just come back from his protocol head injury as he couldn't train and then he trained and he hurt his thigh.

"I think it was a by-product of the protocol if you like as he didn't train and then he came into an intense thing and then hurt his thigh a little it.

"So it is a by-product of the head injury, but it isn’t the head injury.”
