Hatters duo play 45 minutes for Daggers
Luton Town duo Matt Robinson and Alex Lacey both played 45 minutes for Dagenham & Redbridge during their pre-season friendly against St Albans City on Monday night.
The pair have been placed on the transfer list by Hatters boss John Still after being deemed surplus to requirements, with the manager keen to offload some members of his squad after making nine summer signings.
Ashley Chambers scored twice as Dagenham led 2-0 at the break, with Robinson and Lacey then making way, before goals from Bayan Fenwick and Jack Connors sealed the 4-0 triumph.
Luton get their pre-season schedule underway this evening, as they take on Farense in a training game in Portugal, kick-off 6pm local time.
