Midfielder George Moncur wants Town to carry on their strong form at Kenilworth Road when hosting QPR this evening.

The Hatters go into the game unbeaten in their last seven matches on home soil, with four wins and three draws, defeating promotion hopefuls Norwich City, plus Bristol City and Preston North End.

Moncur said: "I think whenever a team comes here to play, they probably don't really fancy it as much as maybe we do, because we play here at home every two weeks or whatever, so we know what it's like.

"It’s just a shame that the fans aren't here as when you've got them on your side as well, it's a very, very tough place to come and get points.

"At home we've been superb, so hopefully we can get another three on Tuesday."

Luton's record under the lights at Kenilworth Road is even better, last suffering a defeat way back in January 2018, almost three years ago now.

On maintaining that record, boss Nathan Jones added: "I hope we can continue that, it is a real shame because in the past, midweek games at the Kenny with the fans have been outstanding occasions, they really have.

"We've had massive, massive nights in terms of wins and performances and when the momentum builds at home it is really good.

"We have had some good games this year and it is a shame it hasn’t been a full house.

"Look we want to continue to build that because we need to pick up our away form, but if our away form can pick up, and we can continue our home form, then we will be in a good position."
