Hatters move too good to turn down for Kissock

IT’S been a whirlwind beginning for Town’s new signing John Paul Kissock, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 21-year-old had been gearing up his preparations for a trip to Kidderminster with Southport on Thursday, before finding out about Luton’s interest and swiftly signing on the dotted line at Kenilworth Road the following morning.

A brief training session with his new team-mates followed, before he was named on the bench for Hatters clash with Braintree Town, where he made his debut as a second half substitute.

Kissock said: “I was getting ready for training on Thursday night at Southport and Liam (Watson) the manager phoned me and said you’re signing for Luton, get down there tomorrow.

“So I stayed in my hotel and met everyone and am really pleased to be here.

“It was an easy option because of the size of the club and the way they play.”
