Luton showed tremendous spirit to come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 in the Championship at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday. Substitute Luke Berry was the hero, netting both goals, including an equaliser in the eighth minute of stoppage time to send the away supporters wild. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
9. Carlos Mendes Gomes: 7
The latest of introductions as he only got the nod moments before kick-off with Muskwe pulling up injured to make his full Championship debut. A few threatening forays, he will take time to adjust to the step up. Replaced by Berry.
10. Harry Cornick: 7.5
Two sights of goal early on, as he won a corner and then couldn’t quite divert Bree’s cross on target. Excellent break and vision set up a wonderful chance for Jerome in the second half which the forward failed to take.
11. Cameron Jerome: 7.5
Led the line with real experience and harshly saw one goal disallowed for a supposed push, while then missed a glorious chance when clean through. Did have a pivotal role in the equaliser, cushioning his header perfectly for Berry.
12. Henri Lansbury (SUB): 8
On much earlier than he would have expected following the injury to Campbell, but again showed just why Jones brought him in with some fine passing. Happy to get stuck in too and improved Town’s set-piece threat greatly as well.
