Luton suffered a humbling 5-0 defeat at the hands of Birmingham City at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. To find out how the hosts rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. James Bree: 4
Looked Town’s most likely source of creating a goal throughout sending in some dangerous free kicks that his team-mates couldn’t make the most of. Poor corner just after half time saw City attack and make it 3-0 though.
6. Amari’i Bell: 3
One long range effort parried, he then gave the ball away too often and needed to stop Chong’s burst for the third, before losing possession cheaply as Birmingham added a fourth. Nowhere near the kind of levels he had previously shown.
7. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 3
Tough afternoon for the midfielder as his poor touch saw Chong burst clear moments after half time and although tracked back superbly, was unfortunate to see his tackle leave Hogan with a tap-in for the crucial third.
8. Allan Campbell: 3
Was back in due to Lansbury’s injury but never able to demonstrate any real influence on proceedings as the Blues were first to everything, easily winning the midfield battle to take a grip on the contest. Off at half-time for Onyedinma.
