Luton put up an almighty fight against Premier League giants Manchester United in their third round tie last night before eventually going out of the competition. Juan Mata's first half penalty put the Red Devils in front, before England internationals Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood netted late on to ensure victory. To find out how the hosts rated on the evening, see below.
9. Jordan Clark: 8
Real livewire in possession, he went forward when possible and never afraid to pull the trigger when in sight of goal, one effort deflecting narrowly wide. Another fine leap to reach Norrington-Davies' cross just didn’t quite come off this time.
10. Kazenga LuaLua: 8.5
Wasn’t fazed by the Premier League opposition he was up against, twisting and turning to find space and get Town on the front foot. Real source of creativity for the hosts as he gave the United defence a testing evening.
11. Danny Hylton: 8
Had a real ding-dong battle with Maguire throughout the night, not afraid to let the England international know he was in a game. Won some clever flick headers, but couldn't take his one real chance, shooting wide with his left foot.
12. Elliot Lee (SUB): 6.5
On to try and find Luton a late goal, but with Rashford and co also joining the fray at the same time, it was to prove tough for the substitute to create a late opening.
