Luton suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to QPR on Tuesday night, as they lost their proud unbeaten record under the lights at Kenilworth Road. Goals from Charlie Austin and Macauley Bonne were enough for the visitors and to find out how Town's players rated on the evening, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 3.5
Up against the experienced Charlie Austin, Town’s captain wasn’t able to stamp his authority on proceedings with the attacker causing plenty of problems during his hour on the field.
6. Glen Rea: 3
Hugely disappointing night for the midfielder who dropped into defence when Jones tinkered with his formations. Gave the ball away far too often and his control let him down as Rangers went through to sew up the points.
7. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 4.5
Rare off night on home soil for the midfielder as even he couldn't get his usually pinpoint passing going, with a number of efforts misplaced. Almost curled in a late leveller, but shot shanked well wide summed up Town’s evening.
8. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 3
Could often hear his groans of frustration on regular basis as the ball ran away from him, or he was easily bypassed by the visiting midfield. Did come a whisker away from making it 1-1 though when his curler clipped the bar.
